Who is this for?
Sport and outdoorsy 2SLGBTQI+ individuals 18 and over.
No sailing experience needed. A sense of adventure and some physical confidence is helpful!
What does it cost?
The full cost is $475 per person, but thanks to Sail Canada, we're offering this program at a highly reduced cost:

How do I register?

What do I need to bring?
Packed lunch and water bottle
Rainproof & windproof jacket and pants
Warm layers (it's cooler on the water than on land)
Warm hat and sailing gloves (let us know if you don't have them)
Soft, grippy-soled shoes (sneakers work great)
Sun protection: well-fitting hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
Do I need sailing experience?
This introduction to sail racing is geared to first-timers and follows Sail Canada Introduction to Boating standard. We'll tailor the day to your level of experience, but a sense of adventure and some physical confidence are helpful!.
How many people can go on each trip?
The maximum group size is six, so register soon! We require four participants per sailing. Bring a friend to help us reach our minimum!
Cascadia Sailing is a Pacific Northwest–based women’s team made up of experienced sailors from Canada and the United States, united by a shared coastline and a commitment to high-performance racing. The team brings Olympic, world championship, offshore, and elite one-design experience.
Wild About Sailing is an innovative little sailing school on Vancouver Island built around the mantra "fast is fun, small is beautiful." Using performance keelboats, we teach the new sailors. Our course cover introductory sailing to cruising certification. We emphasize safety, fun, diversity, and skill-building.
